The Sahjattra Concern is a powerful merchant collective based in Radz-At-Han, Thavnair.
The Concern's primary focus is controlling the supply of rare alchemical ingredients sourced from the island's interior. Its methods are cutthroat; the Concern is infamous for tightly controlling the supply of its wares, creating artificial scarcity to drive up prices. Akebono notes that while none can deny the efficacy of its medicines, "none can deny the exorbitant profits he has reaped by tightly controlling the supply of Hannish ingredients".
The organization's representatives appear in unexpected corners of the world, from the Thavnairian consulate in Kugane to criminal underworld dealings in Ishgard.
The Concern maintains a network of spies and informants across Eorzea and the Far East, and it's known to be unafraid to utilize illegal substances, such as the mind-controlling drug Dewprism, to gain a commercial or political advantage. This led to a major scandal in Kugane involving Godbert Manderville and resulted in the arrest of Concern representative Jubraca.
During the late years of the Sixth Astral Era, The Sahjattra Concern held a lucrative trade liaison in Ishgard, represented by a Hyuran man named Ardashir. In leu of another scandal, Ardashir lost his position a year prior to the Calamity.
