1. Creation and House Rules

Creation Rules

Creation rules for our available venues will be found here.

General Creation Rules

  • All characters start with our floor XP, which is found on the sheets and is automatically calculated
    • Replacement characters use Death XP (see below)
  • We do no require the usual 5/4/3 Attribute spread or the 11/7/5 Skill spread. Instead you have 12 points to spend on attribures and 22 on skill as seen fit
  • All characters start with 10 Merit dots
  • You may ignore the 3 dot skill max before XP spends rules
  • In general, Merits from other character types are not allowed. See each entry for any exceptions to this rule
  • You may have a total of 6 characters.
    • We use a character slot system which gives one slot each from Changeling, Mage, and Vampire.
    • Three of these slots must be filled by a Changeling, a Mortal/Hunter, and a Vampire. Half-templates and Minor Templates do not count
    • You do not have to fill each of these slots, but they cannot be exchanged
    • You can use your remaining slots as you wish
    • Eg. John has 6 slots and Makes a Hunter and a Vampire. He doesn't have an idea for Changeling so he leaves that slot empty for now. He can now make Hunters, Vampires, Ghouls, Fae-Touched, and Mortals to fill his remaining three slots, but he cannot use his Changeling slot to make any of the aforementioned
