The fruit of the devil's loins has been spread far and wide. In this regard, Anchorage is neither special nor an exception. Anchorage presents its own unique challenges between the sheer number of supernaturals in such a wide space, and the tasks ahead of such infernal get. Those that have chosen to take up the sword against devils and demons alike have plenty of work ahead of them at The Lady of Milan's orders. The Last Frontier is not a respite from the Vigil. Now, in recent months however, the eternal war against devilry has turned more than a little of its attention to recon as Abraham and others have found themselves tasked with seeking out the remnants of another conspiracy; The Malleus Maleficarum. Style
Whatever truth or rumors exist regarding The Lucifuge, if any among Anchorage's Hunter Community exists, one thing certain. They hunt monsters, and are largely decentralized, with little in the way of compunction for mingling with other Hunter groups. Their single-minded purpose to root out evil and refute their heritage is not without contention on methodology; most keep their opinions to themselves even among others of the conspiracy. Here in Anchorage, The Reconciliation has found itself with the fewest known members, while The Lucifuge's footsoldiers among The Denial still make up the bulk of the conspiracy. Recent events however, have given rise to The Truth and more individuals that share such skeptical sentiments have begun to increase in number as word and rumor rise about the current orders regarding the Malleus Maleicarum. The temptation of uncovering more of the Lady of Milan's secrets is a strong one.
