The Footage doesn't lie, People do.  That's the problem.

Description & Personality

a1c0f3c7-ea14-4094-ad91-3e387b53ddcf.pngWade is third-generation Alaskan.  Grandson of a Trapper, Son of a Hunting Guide, he grew up knowing the wilderness wasn't just a backdrop.  He's tall, ruggedly handsome in a way that photographs well and looks accidental, with the kind of easy physical confidence that comes from spending more time outdoors than in. He moves like someone who knows how to be quiet when he needs to be.

He runs nature photography out of a dark green 2008 Ford F-250 named Vera and produces outdoor content — both the kind that airs on YouTube and the kind that finances it. He is entirely unbothered by the relationship between those two careers and will explain the economics to anyone who asks. The OnlyFans funds the gear. The gear gets the footage. The footage is the work. The math is simple.

What isn't simple is Dark Frontier — his paranormal documentary channel, no face on camera, cryptid silhouette for a logo, cult following that keeps growing because the footage is genuine and people who know what they're looking at can tell. Wade can't take public credit for it. He has built an alias architecture careful enough that nobody has connected the dots yet. He tracks the subscriber count compulsively and tells himself the recognition was never the point.

Role Playing Hooks

The Footage:

Dark Frontier has captured things on camera that belong to every supernatural community in this city. Wade doesn't always know what he's filmed. Other people might recognize it immediately — and have opinions about the fact that it exists on a public channel with forty thousand subscribers.

A funny sort of Famous:

Wade's face is attached to outdoor content all over the internet. That's a useful cover — and a significant liability when the things he hunts start recognizing him before he recognizes them.

The Predator

Something large has been following him for months, possibly longer. It has decided he's interesting rather than prey — for now. Whatever it is, it's patient, and it may have opinions about the people Wade starts keeping company with.
