You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake.
Anna has put together for a lack of better words a Self Defense Survival Retreat, perhaps you have wanted to change from a doughboy for someone carved of wood. Dubbed the Long Winter, the retreat is a temple against the indolence of modern living. Here you learn to use your body as a weapon, how to conquer the elements and live in harmony with your spiritual nature. Perhaps you have sought her guidance, or perhaps you have found yourself on the floor while she waits to see if you will rise to the summit.
Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice.
Out on the taiga and the tundra of Alaska during the worst storms those who are lost claim they have been saved by a young blonde woman with eyes like ice. For some she had brought food, for others fuel to warm them and in other times lead them back through the cold and blizzards to a true safe haven. she has been this savior to human, blood and Uratha alike. Once her charges are safe however she returns back into the blizzard or the desolation of the wilderness often causing those to question if she was real.
Darkness does not consume light; it simply gives it a canvas to shine.
Annas interest when it comes to the many prey of the Uratha is that of the spirits, even before her first change she saw and heard the choirs that hid behind the world. Now that she has come into her own when it comes to paying every debt in kind to spirits she is more than happy to lend her hand. Perhaps you needed someone martial to help take down a spirit, or wanted advice...she will always come to bargain, in kind.
Only the dead have seen the end of war.
It is said that her two older brothers traveled from their home to Alaska in call to old bonds to fight against the Pure. While competent Uratha their pack diminished over the fighting and at the end of a reprieve of fighting they were ambushed by the Pure and slain in combat. Their deaths are noted but their bodies are lost and uncounted, perhaps you fought besides Alexei or Kir before their end. She would see them properly lain to rest along with their memory.
