Aevira is the major continent on the planet of Aurora
Etymology
Aevira is named after the Divine Kindred goddess, Aevira the Hearthmother. The name was popularized after human settlers became the dominate species after the Desolate Cascade and the religion became widespread. Aevira the Hearthmother is seen as the motherly protector of all communities, making her a symbolic choice for the name of the entire continent.
The continent was once known by the elves as Eilsimar, or "The Lands of Beginnings".
