Verdant Hearth

Born from the Green Circle relatively early into the Age of Renewal, the Verdant Hearth focuses on community relief efforts while still staying true to its roots as a druidic order and keeping the balance of nature. In particular, the group seeks to aid and provide shelter to those who have been displaced by conflict and disaster- Something there has been no shortage of since the Shardstorms began.

Though many of the past iteration of the guild were Druids, Rangers, and followers of the Green Faith; the expansion towards community relief has also attracted followers of Erastil, Lorris, and even the Cosmic Caravan. That said, the group welcomes those from just about all walks of life into its ranks, as long as they respect nature and are willing to aid those in need.


Associate Member Edicts: aid those displaced by conflict or disaster, such as from the shardstorms; keep harmony between nature and civilization
Associate Member Anathema: force others to accept help they don't want, despoil natural settings*

Core Member Edicts:
all associate edicts, work with local communities, restore or preserve areas of natural wilderness
Core Member Anathema: all associate anathema, turn down someone in need without good reason, encourage imbalance in nature

(*To despoil is to severely ruin, either through destruction or stripping of resources. )

Current Goals and Membership

Goals:

  • Establish a Garden around the Apothecary.
    The main intent with this is to make healing consumables (particularly Healing Potions and Elixirs of Life) more accessible to those that might need them, since gold is a bit tighter this season and parties aren't guaranteed to have a dedicated healer.
  • In addition to the above, make a space to treat diseases/curses
    We don't really have a place in the Junction for this at the moment, so it would make having RP for this easier
  • Build a shelter for those with nowhere to go
    This is more of an RP/Narrative goal.
  • Unlock new Nature and/or Healing-related content
    A catch-all. Potential items include Heartmoss and Clay Sphere, if AP stuff is on the table. Also Camels, because them being locked seems a bit silly with this season's setting.
