While bards and those interested in more general education might come to visit Desna's Institute of Valiant Arts and those seeking medical training may visit the original hospital founded by The Menders, those with arcane inclinations will find much to appreciate in the library maintained by the Nexus of Allithea.
While other guilds formed to aid the Second Heroes' March sought to spread their knowledge and expand their influence, the mages of the Nexus of Allithea were content to fade back into a quiet, scholarly focus. They focused on expanding their tower into a stately library filled with newly acquired tomes and the fruits of their own research, open to any who wished to peruse their knowledge but content to remain a solitary, stuffy old institute of magical research. Though the Nexus is well-known to locals and students of magic studying at DIVA, it remains something of a hidden gem for international scholars of the arcane arts.
