The dwarven community organization known as Torag's Expedition was founded by Marked dwarves during the Second Heroes' March. After the Alchemist's defeat, they turned their attention to the regions around Moonlit City—namely, the Five Kings Mountains. During the Age of Collapse, many dwarven communities retreated under ground, isolating themselves from the rest of the world to try and find some modicum of safety from the turmoils above. Torag's Expedition has made it their mission to reconnect with these isolated hold-outs and form a network of dwarven enclaves. They help maintain and protect the region's mines, and have established trade relationships between miners and the communities and organizations that need their raw materials to rebuild society. Ultimately, their goal is to reclaim the Five Kings Mountains and re-establish a thriving dwarven civilization in the region. Though they've made good progress in the last 75 years, dwarves are famously stubborn and happy to drag their feet when they think it's called for, so their attempts to bridge the gaps between dwarven enclaves and bring everyone to the negotiating table have been stymied by not-infrequent diplomatic spats.
