Wedding Letter to Atigras from Jorunn

To the one who pierces my heart like a dagger.

To the one who has a smile which summons mine.

To the one who draws a song from my soul.

Atigras,

I had always believed love to be something which burned slowly as a candle. However, meeting you has taught me that it can just as well consume me quickly as wildfire. I pride myself in being careful and thoughtful, even in matters of the heart. However, from an instant, you held a unique power over me. I know that you have expressed that your initial intension in finding a suitor was to bring stability and longevity to the country that you love. While spending time together, our connection was undeniable, and I began to feel my fondness of you be reciprocated. Our talks revealed our fears, ambitions, flaws, regrets, and even memories that we had kept hidden from others. We sought to understand each other and our views on the world. I am firm in the idea that we were fated to arrive at this incredible moment. I will spend my life finding new ways to love you until my dying breath. I lay my sword at your feet. I vow to cherish you as a gift from The Old Divine. I will listen to the utters from your lips as the trees listen to the wind, inhaling every breath. All I have and that which I am to gain is yours. For we are to become one this day. I am eager to see you. I hope that you like your gift.

Yours,

Jorunn
