Kamuzu Kenef

Kamuzu is a 23-year-old Half-Orc man from Egypt. He is kind, caring, and loves animals.  Kamuzu is the oldest of 4, although he the only child between his father, Charlie (Human), and mother Mona (Orc). When he was young, his mother left the family to be with Orc man. For two years, he and his father lived alone and he could see his father's hatred for Orcs grow stronger. Once he remarried, it was with a human woman named Tilly. They had 3 children, and Kamuzu felt out of place at home throughout his childhood. In school, he was picked on and teased by the Orc children for being weak and not "Orc enough". At home, he was made to feel unwanted since he was not completely human in appearance and sometimes would underestimate his strength. At one particular time, he was heavily scolded and punished for playing too rough with his baby sister. For most of his life, he was reluctant to show his strength, as he felt it only caused further problems. He also became unsure of himself due to his insecurities and stayed to himself as a child.

However, in his early teenage years, he began visiting the local pet store after school. He found that being around animals made him feel better. He was able to love and be loved without worrying about being too Orc or too human. Soon, he began volunteering at the shop and helping the aging shopkeeper, Fenel, who also happened to be a Half-Orc. He soon became a great mentor for Kamuzu and even a father figure. He taught Kamuzu morals and passed on as much knowledge as he could. He taught him how to care for animals and would often speak about their therapeutic effectiveness. Soon after Kamuzu’s 18th birthday, Fenel passed and this devastated him. Fenel left his shop and his home to Kamuzu, as he did not have any children or loved ones. In a note, he described Kamuzu as the son he wished that had and that he knew that the place would be in good hands. Since then, Kamuzu moved out of his father’s home and became the owner of Furever Home. Recently, Kamuzu was proud to serve in The Great War, at the Pharaoh’s request. For him, having Pharaoh Zerc, who is a great Orc man, reference his strength was eye-opening and a huge confidence boost.Also, his time spent with Prince Atigras Aszellem has improved his confidence. Kamuzu left Egypt for the first time on a trip to Hungary and bragged to others that he was going to get on his first boat. Has a pet tiger named Kis Karom Remeg. The name translates to "Little trembling claw".
