Bengy is an ambitious man who had dreams of ruling Kesu. He let a revolt, which split Kesu into two. The land that he and his followers gathered was briefly called Alexandria. In his charismatic and energetic speeches, he spoke of Princess Ezelle being the rightful next heir to the throne. Bengy sought to remove Pharaoh Zerc from power because, in addition to his envy, he did not agree with the current ruler's policies. It is said among the Kesu people that there may have been a romantic involvement between King Bengy and Princess Ezelle. However, it remains that there were talks heard which mentioned marriage to allow them to rule Kesu together.
Bengy is currently imprisoned as he awaits trial for treason. Since he is responsible for starting The Great War, which resulted in the Royal Wife Serene's death, many believe that the judgment and punishment will be harsh.
