Ivan is the Prince of France and is next in line for the throne. He is a 23-year old male born to King Joan, who is deceased and Queen Antoinette. French citizens are unsure if Prince Ivan could be there next King, as they doubt his maturity and decision making. For now, they are comfortable letting Queen Antoinette carry on, as she has gained their trust, admiration, and respect. However, they have been urging her to marry a man fit to be King. Also, there are talks of selecting a King from another family if the Queen were to instead suddenly hand over the throne to her young son. Although Ivan is adored amongst the people, the nobles seem to have an agenda that goes against the young Prince ruling at this age. They feel that a more experienced King is what France needs. Prince Ivan often practices archery to clear his mind from rumors and implicit threats of high ranking officials. He has been described as soft-spoken, honest, and sometimes absent-minded. Ivan has a strong relationship with his mothers and his two sisters. Recently, his mother has been arranging meetings between him and potential brides. However, he has refused to ask any of them to marry.
