Arriving at school, they can't help but notice a strange young woman hanging around outside the fence.
At lunch, Billie sits with the older crowd, Unknown, Joey, Unknown, and Unknown, and manage to impress them with his Gameboy. Henry confides in Reiji about the talking box and with his eyes widening he asks for her to show it to him.
After school, Henry meets Reiji and takes him back to where she found the talking box. When there, the box is gone, seemingly dragged off.
Billie takes his clique of followers to the record shop where he impresses them with his musical knowledge.
They have Sherlock sniff the trail. Oddly, he brings them to an abandoned mansion. They get inside via the coal chute. The trail goes cold and they exchange the visions when they touched the crystal.
Billie shakes his posse to look for someone to help with his powers. He manages to call a crow, introducing as Gaagaagi , whom tells him to try talking to the tribal Midewiwin.
Billie finds the Midewiwin, Emma. With some spiking of his tea, she helps him see the spirit world. Though Billie sees mostly what looks like static, it's the first step.
Henry arrives home dirty from coal. She cleans up and talks to her mom over dinner.
