This mansion was, at one point in time, the home to a great Lord who found a fascination with the Underdark . After his death, evil creatures began to come up through a cavern that was dug under his manor that leads to the Underdark. However, the Duergar (Dark Dwarves) that he hired to dig the tunnel also found a large deposit of Magnitite in the tunnel and began to mine it for their own profit.
The manor is now filled with various Underdark creatures and the mine underneath is guarded by various Ettercaps and Spiders.
