Blackhollow

Blackhollow is the first stop for anyone trading at Clam Island and there are many con artists and swindlers looking to make a Gold Piece. The streets are dirt and the docks are wooden. It is rare for respectable visitors to come to Blackhollow as it is mostly inhabited by sailors and traders who are only here temporarily. The town usually hosts about 1,000 people but Very few people actually live in Blackhollow, about 120 (not including DOJ), and those people own taverns, Inn's, bathhouses, and brothels. Sex work is legal and a regular sight as well as public drunkenness, walking around at night you are likely to see at least 5 men passed out in the dirt. The violence laws here are very relaxed as it seems the only law against it is murder, and chances are you could even get away with that in the right situation. Fighting in the streets is a daily sight and if you get mugged or robbed its your own fault.

With all its flaws, the port is very popular with sailors who have been on the ocean for months as it is the perfect place to enjoy a stiff drink and pleasurable company without much risk of lasting consequences.

Lord Glist Karmack is the governor over this port and his top priority above all else is to make a Gold Piece. In addition, he can be regularly found in the many taverns and brothels at night.

Blackhollow has a daily 15 DOJ officers but can muster 150 in the case of an attack.
