Thrimbar is a port city of Khorvaire and its primary port to and from Tethyr. Thrimbar is a steampunk style town where sites of flying ships and blimps are a regular site. The city is actually in the middle of a small bay, elevated in the water, creating cascading waterfalls all around it, making it almost impossible to approach from a normal ship. The city has very little natural land so a vast majority of the city is extravagant pathways, and gondolas that wind from place to place. The entire city is made of very extravagant decorations and intricate stone structures. Statues of the Goddess of Beauty Sune line the roman style port entrance as well was several locations throughout the streets. The city is never dark as millions of lights that shine with the Moon-That-Never-Sets magic. Also The Lightning Rail ends/begins here taking passangers to the Capitol city Grimstone.
Royal Enforcers patrol the streets and quickly carry off anyone causing a disturbance or who appear "Homeless". The "downtrotten" people of Eberron, nicknamed "Trenchers" are quickly removed from the sight of "civilized" citizens. Offically, there are only 1200 residence of Thrimbar.
