Year 0 : Birth of Harudogan

Eons ago... Primus, the God of Law and Order, placed a large stone into the pure chaos plane of Limbo. The inhabitants of Limbo came to call it “The Spawning Stone” because as it sat in the shapeless plane of Chaos, it began to force the shapeless lifeforms who lived there, the Slaadi, into a physical form. The Lord of Chaos and Slaadi Prince, Ssendam, was outraged by this unwarranted attack on the inhabitants of Limbo. He crafted a Sword out of hundreds of Slaadi who didn't fully form into physical beings, and went to war against the law and order that Primus worked so hard for on the Material Plane. This sword was named "Zioq Nuxjis", translated as "Weapon of Souls". With this sword, Ssendam lead his Slaadi into the Material Plane to harm what Primus has built. The Slaad took to the Material Plane and began to seek out to cause chaos where possible. This, however was not enough

During his time on the material plane, Ssendam crafted yet another weapon, a large monolith he dubbed, the Anima Canon. He then took, the Ziog Nuxjis sword, and placed it into the Anima Canon. The monolith pulled out the souls and created a new species called, Virage, to create mass chaos on the Material Plane. Unknown the Ssendam, the Virage where not smart or loyal like the Slaadi, simply destructive and primal. The virages, born from pure chaos, took many forms. Each new Virage generation more mutated and more ruthless than the generation before it, rivaling even the Dragons in power. Finally, one Virage was created that had the power to kill Primus himself, having the general appearance and flight of a dragon, but the primal, raw killing instinct of a Virage.

Ssendam looked to his “Super Virage” with pride and named him Harudogan ("One who will purify"). As Ssendam approached the abomination and ordered it to seek out Primus and destroy him, Harudogan instead turned his might towards his creator, and Ssendom was slain by his own creation. Now, with chaos in full force upon the material plane, the Deities had no choice but to
intervene. A powerful Archfey named Titania, and the Dragon God Bahamut rose to combat the threat and ultimately won. They defeated the Virage’s, destroying most and banished few others into the Abyss to serve as guardians of the Abyssal Gates. Harudagon however, had grown too powerful for the duo to kill. However, they were able to seal the super Virage away.

With the help of a powerful artificer guild called The Kwami, Bahamut created a prison for the beast in the mountains of Galifar. Titania took the corpse of a fallen immortal and created the Moon That Never Sets and created a powerful enchantment. The magic showering from the Moon would restrain Harudogan. The enchantment was so strong and wide spread, it covered the entire Continent of Eberron.

Millenia would pass and stories handed down would become warped by religious leaders. Finally, a religious organization called The Dragon Below would emerge. Hearing a story of a dragon-like creature powerful enough to purify the world. They began to worship Harudogan and called him “The Divine Dragon”.
