House Thuranni is an elven dragonmarked house that has split off of House Phiarlan and become their direct rivals competing in entertainment and espionage.[2][3][4] House Thuranni is the youngest of the dragonmarked houses, having split from House Phiarlan during the Last War.[5] To the public, agents of House Thuranni are artists, entertainers and beautiful courtiers, however, like Phiarlan, Thuranni also offers more clandestine services as well. House Thuranni's specialty is in assassinations.[3] House Thuranni does not split up its espionage and entertainment service in the same way House Phiarlan does, so all Thuranni agents at least dabble in its espionage activities and work for the Shadow Network[6] Thuranni assassins aren't readily available for hire, as House Thuranni chooses its clients carefully. However, House Thuranni offers its services as artists and courtiers to the public.[3] Secret services such as Aundair's Royal Eyes often rely on the information purchased from House Thuranni and Phiarlan
