Bay Town in Lancetide is a sprawling district outside of the city walls, lining the bay. Many of the poorest workers live here, commuting into the city proper every day.

Bay Town was formed long after the rest of the city as more and more people were priced out of the housing inside the protective walls. The majority of the population are fishermen and women, farmers, and traders who sell from carts in the Merchant District.

Although it’s a lot more poor than the rest of Lancetide, crime in Baytown isn’t as rife as in the neighbouring Wharf District – it has more of a community feel and is divided into multiple smaller neighbourhoods.
