The Plane of Air is an Inner Plane which sits between The Prime Material Plane and The Astral Plane. It is mostly inhabited by air elementals and creatures with the ability to fly.
The Plane of Air is a vast open place, with constant winds blowing across and through it. Chunks of earth drift occasionally in the expanse of air and cloud, and these form homes for many of the creatures who reside in this plane. Other creatures live on banks of cloud that have been magically transformed into solid surfaces. Storms and hurricanes frequently rip through parts of the plane.
Travel
Travel to The Plane of Air is achieved through various spells, or via The Ethereal Plane. Crossings into The Plane of Air can occur rarely in The Material Plane, and only in places where air is the dominant element such as a fog-capped mountain or in the center of a storm cloud.
