The Plane of Earth is an Inner Plane which sits between The Prime Material Plane and The Astral Plane. It is mostly inhabited by earth elementals and creatures who live underground.
The Plane of Earth is an endless mountain range, rising higher than any in The Material Plane. No air surrounds the peaks of these mountains, and no snow falls on them; most visitors to this plane arrive by way of the countless caves and caverns beneath.
Travel
Travel to The Plane of Earth is achieved through various spells, or via The Ethereal Plane. Crossings into The Plane of Earth can occur rarely in The Material Plane, and only in places where earth is the dominant element such as a seemingly bottomless pit or in the middle of a sandstorm.
