A Token of Empathy represents a major contribution you've made to The Fatebound. During a quest, you can spend a Token of Empathy before making a roll to make the Fortune Die of that roll a d20. While at The Eternal Instant , you can spend a Token of Empathy for one of the following benefits of your choice:
- Gain 10 gold, as the Fatebound pays you for your job well done
- Gain 1 experience point in any skill, as you spend time training at the various facilities at the Eternal Instant
- Buy a piece of information. What information is available is at the GM's discretion and dependent on the resources available to the Fatebound, but you won't be charged for questions that aren't answered.
