In the middle of the town square, you may find the only shrine in the town, known locally as the shrine of luck. It is dedicated to Tymora, the Goddess of Luck. When blessed by the Sister that runs it there is a chance the gods bestown good fortune but she is absent when you start the game.
It is up to the DM whether she returns before the end of the campaign or doesn't return at all due to the long distance.
