Alyn Corus, known to his students as Father Alyn, is an experienced Templar of the Church of the Silver Flame. He's old enough that he could retire now, and none could say he hadn't done his duty, but he refuses to do so. He argues that as long as he has strength enough to hold his sword and shield, he has strength enough to stand against evil, and he would rather die in defense of the defenseless than quietly in his sleep.
