Vorlintar, also known as the Voice of the Innocent, Keeper of Hopes, Fifth Among the Fallen of Syrania, and the Fallen Angel, is a Radiant Idol from Syrania. Following the fall of the Glass Tower in Sharn, Vorlintar descended into the ruins of Godsgate to help those who survived the disaster, to bring them hope. The survivors saw the angel and thanked the Sovereign Host, and began to worship him as a god. Angels are not meant to be worshipped, it does dangerous things to their minds, and Vorlintar was twisted and corrupted by those he had come to save.
Vorlintar, in turn, corrupted those who had turned to him for help. The angel, now a Radiant Idol taking the form of Dol Arrah, fed the delusions of the cult just as his own deteriorating mental state was fed by their worship. Before his fall from grace, Vorlintar was an angel of Hope, his title was "Voice of the Innocent", and he has remained an angel of hope after his fall. However, his purpose has been twisted just as his mind has been, and whilst he does provide hope to his cult, he saps it away from everyone else, filling mortals with hopelessness and despair.
Like all Radiant Idols, Vorlintar cannot fly. The remains of his wings are bloody stumps that never heal, oozing blood onto his back as they sway and move. He has retained the ability to move these vestigial wings, but he will never again taste the skies.
