Ashi was a member of the Bonetree (Drumasaz) clan based out of the Shadow Marches, and a follower of The Revered.
Ashi knows much about the Cult of the Revered, and Dah'mir himself. She grew disillusioned with the cult when her father, Ner was mortally wounded by Geth whilst pursuing Kalshana. Rather than help the hunt master, the Hand of the Revered killed him and gave his sword to Ashi, putting her in charge of the hunt.
After the events of Interlude in Zarash'ak, she spent a great deal of time with Singe as they traveled to the Bonetree Mound. She had changed while away from her clan, and what once would fill her with excitement and pride now onlt disgusted her. Through her conversations with Singe, she learned that she carries the blood of Deneith, which Singe explained as being like another clan she could belong to.
Ashi promised Singe that if she got a chance to, she would try to save him and Dandra. She was unable to, and when Singe was dragged into the ring to fight with Hruucan, she promised she would kill him rather than leave him to Hruucan, but he persuaded her to rescue Dandra instead, while the Bonetree were distracted with the fight.
She did, and on their way out of the Bonetree Mound, she encountered Geth, Natrac and the party.
She joined the party, and travelled with them from the Shadow Marches and into Droaam. When they eventually encountered Dah'mir again, she manifested the Siberys Mark of Sentinel to protect the kalashtar.
