Vicemayor Gertrude is a thin woman, and claims to be a Halfling, though she is 5'11" and looks like a halfling that had been stretched on a rack. She is a shrewd, kind woman, and acts as the mouthpiece for the mayoral decrees of Mayor Pokey. She understands him better than anyone else, and ensures he is happy and healthy.
Despite her lofty title, Gertrude is not really the authority in the village. It is most often Karbal that people look to for guidance, but Gertrude has a good relationship with the innkeep that allows her to share in the power. This is helped by the fact that she is best friends with a fucking ankylosaurus.
