Journey Home is the largest House Orien enclave in Khorvaire, and the headquarters of the house. It's enomrous, taking up roughly one third of the space in the city of Passage, and employing almost half of the city's population. On top of being where the House raises its scions, Journey Home is also home to the largest Lightning Rail depot and maintenance yard in the world. It is here that the lightning rail coaches and conductor stones are created, before being sent out to their destinations.
Journey Home also has a dedicated research district, where House Orien's finest arcane scholars research new ways to improve upon their transportation technologies, pushing their carriages and lightning rails further than ever before.
All Orien heirs will spend some time in Journey Home, at some point in their lives, to learn the ways of the house. It is where Damien d'Orien and his siblings grew up.
