The Passage Institue for the Arcane Arts, most often referred to as the Passage Institute, is a school of magic. Whereas most arcane academies treat magic as something to be studied under controlled conditions, The Passage Institue believes that the best place to study magic is out in the field. It also has much lower entry requirements than, say, Arcanix, and the tuition fees are substantially cheaper than most other schools in Aundair.
The Passage Institute accepts anyone with the interest to study spellcasting, regardless of their aptitude before joining. Many choose to study there for a time to pick up specific skills that will help them in their jobs, rather than to become artificers or wizards (though those are options too!).
