21. Vacation in Passage

Steph does the recap, earning an advance for Charlie!
Before they leave, Drego Sarhain gives them a quick goodbye. Damien says he'd be happy to never see him again, and Drego says he's touched he can make Damien happy.
Lhara will travel with them to Passage, but she won't be staying, she's gotta get back to Sharn

They arrive in Passage, ready for a bit of a break from life threatening danger
Passage is home to the only Subway Transit system in all of Khorvaire! It's pretty incredible.
There are subway maps but Damien doesn't need em, he grew up here and he knows the city.
He gives them some suggestions of where they could go: he needs to meet with his siblings at Familiar Faces, but there's also Unicorn Park, The Passage Institute for the Arcane Arts and a bar he used to work at, Off The Rails (Tavern).
Nerys is surprised that Damien has worked? "Of course I have, we all worked there. It's a Rite of Passage"

Damien asks if anyone is allergic to familiars?
What?
Charlie asks if there will be horses there? "No"
Yashira asks him why he doesn't like horses?
"I just don't"
They dig into it, is it the size? The way they look? Move? Does he not like riding them, or just like...as creatures?
Charlie tells a story about playing hide and seek once as a kid and hiding in a stable, and getting spooked. He's just never liked em since.
"I don't like how they clip clop"
Maybe he could get to know Clarence better? That might help get over the fear
Damien suggests they could go for a couple rides together
Yashira suggests they should see Damien's family first, then they can do whatever
They begin a bit of trying to read the subway map, our experiences in London colouring it, and it's pretty funny.
Damien comps their tickets for the subway, how kind!
Damien leads them to Familiar Faces, on the lakeside. None of them have a familiar, though they consider getting Warren (the dead rat that Charlie reanimates) out
Cédric and Alice are here, but none of Damien's other family members. Conell, the cat, is Alice's familiar.
One of them asks if Damien's family had any familiars as a kid, and he confirms the cat. Nerys says they had a pet slime named Squishy, but their brother ate it.
What!?
They don't let that just slide, they have to talk about it. Nerys got some trauma apparently.
They were really upset at the time, but it was a long time ago
Damien tells them to stop being weird in the entrance and approaches his family.
Alice practically jumps on him, eagerly showing him her dragonmark! She developed the Mark of Passage!
Damien is elated! He introduces the party to his siblings
Cedric comments that he didn't actually know Damien had joined a guild! He didn't write...
Oh sovereigns! Damien apologises for the lack of contact
Damien gives a high level summary of all the places he's been to!
Cedric asks if they've all been adventuring long? What drives them to want to? He understands Damien's motivation, is that true of the others?
Damien says these people are the most competent he's ever met! They agree, and big Damien up a bit too
Cedric asks if Damien's had to do much fighting? Has he been okay?
He's made do, he's had to do a bit. He draws his unicorn rapier and shows it to them. Alice takes it from him and examines it closely.
Cedric asks if he's managing okay financially? He knows they aren't supposed to help, but nobody would have to know
Damien says he's doing okay, he misses home but he enjoys the independence.
Damien asks what's going on with their end? Cedric says much the same for the most part, but gestures to Alice
Who eagerly shows everyone her dragonmark! The second Delannoy to manifest a mark in over 60 years!!
What about Erik? His Test of Siberys is coming up, he's worried about it. Cedric is worried he'll take after Bastien
What about him? Bastien is an Outrider now. He's barely ever here, and he doesn't spend much time with them when he does. Cedric doesn't know how to help him.
Damien doesn't either...
He suddenly remembers his friends, and offers to buy them drinks! Ban asks what he recommends?
Yashira asks if they can sit with Damien's family, or would he like some privacy to catch up?
Damien doesn't mind, but maybe it'd be good to have a quick chat with his family on his own and then they can join together?
As soon as the others are out of earshot, Alice is on his ass about Charlie. "Do you know the tall one is into you, Damien?"
Damien gets so flustered. He doesn't know about that...Charlie is so smart and academic
Alice says that Charlie is always looking at him, way more than anyone else. Damien looks over to the other table, and Charlie is looking at him, but looks away when Damien looks over
Damien deflects the attention by bringing up a boy Alice is seeing, which Cedric didn't know about.
They spend the next hour or so catching up, Damien filling them in on the details of what they've been doing. The things they've seen, the danger they've faced, and he keeps bringing up Charlie's magic. His siblings eyebrows just get higher and higher as the conversation goes.
Yashira comments to the others that its nice seeing Damien with his family, especially after the last adventure. Ruckus says it's been a hectic few days.
Yashira asks how many of them keep in touch with their families?
Ban says he writes letters when he can, and he spends time with them whenever he's in Sharn. There's nothing more important than family.
And he has been spending the last couple months with them! Ban does like getting away sometimes though, it helps him appreciate them more. He's a middle child, two younger siblings and three older.
Big families, these dragonmarked folks
Nerys tries to get Charlie's attention, he seems so distracted, to ask if he keeps in touch with his family?
He exchanges letters with his siblings, but not his parents
"You have siblings?"
Charlie is the youngest son, he has a younger sister but the others are all older than him.
"Your dad is kind of an asshole right?"
That's a shame
Nerys asks if his siblings are cool? He shrugs. "George is very focused on his career, Anna's-"
"What does he do?"
"He's a guard for King Boranel"
Charlie doesn't make this as big of a deal as it probably should be
Nerys asks if he feels pressure to be as good as them? Charlie forces a smile and says "Maybe...y'know, it doesn't matter"
Yashira says he's perfectly successful, there's not much to compare to. He's saved them so many times, and she's never met a mind as bright as his!
Charlie's well flustered, and says that those successes mean jack shit to his family. They're military, he's not a soldier, so they couldn't care less.
Nerys talks a bit about their dad, who's an excellent smith, and though he never said it, Nerys believes he was disappointed that they didn't go into that line of work. They start to talk about their brother, have a coughing fit, and then say he was a crafter so he always felt like their dad's favourite. Their brother had an interest in artifice, Nerys thinks, but he didn't pursue it.
Charlie said his dad was very clear about his thoughts on that...
Yashira asks if he thought his father would be impressed if he saw the way Charlie fights now?
Charlie doesn't think so, and Nerys asks if he'd even want to impress him? Charlie looks into his drink and shrugs
Ban says that he impresses him every single day, it's his dad's problem if he can't appreciate that
Yashira agrees, Charlie's dad sounds like a dick
"Nevertheless, you're with us now, and I'm glad you're around"
It's very sweet, Charlie is glad he met them
It's kinda funny, his uncle Alistair taught him little bits of magic, then he met Luca
Yashira asks when he met Luca? "Uhh, three or four years ago?"
He tells the story, of him coming out of a drag show he'd performed and running into her. Look at em now!
Yashira says she should probably meet her at some point. Charlie says "yeah you should, she's only seen you when you weren't awake"

Charlie explains that when they were in Droaam, in that cave, she visited them. She had some of Ban's curry.
"Huh. Fascinating."
There was a question of whether the others had told Yashira what Luca's deal was, but we decide it's funnier if they haven't
Nerys says "You know authors, they're just weird like that"
Yeah Charlie meets a lot of eccentric people doing what he does
Yashira passes a cat to Ban, and it's like a blanket cos he's so small
They buy some treats for the cats
After some time catching up, Damien and fam join the others. Alice wants to talk to Charlie!!
Conell goes with Alice, adding another cat to the mix. He smells like cinnamon.
Ban is getting slowly buried under a mountain of cats, and one lizard
A rat sits up on its bag legs, waves at Yashira, and then scurries away, feeding her paranoia
Alice goes to sit next to Charlie, but Damien swoops in and moves away. She shoots him an evil look.
Alice, locked in, asks Charlie about his magic? Damien just won't shut up about it!
Charlie makes a little ice sculpture in his hand. "Woah! How do you use this in fighting?"
Charlie says he put a gnoll in high heels once
"Woah"
Yashira says "it's amazing how off balance eight inches of ice can make someone"
This catches Alice off guard. "Yeah...I could imagine it does"
Alice doesn't have any powers yet, but she has the mark! Soon she'll be just like Damien!
Damien says he bets his father is over the moon. Cedric says their mother is too, it's a small mark but more than Bastien or Cedric have!
Bastien's doing well for himself though, an outrider! Cedric says their mother isn't too happy about it, it's dangerous
Yashira asks about Bastien? He's not here because he's on duty?
Damien explains that Bastien is an Outrider, the like...elite horsemen of House Orien, who deliver the post where no one else will. Wherever it may be, however dangerous.
Maybe they'll meet him next time!
Yashira offers to buy Alice a gift, in celebration of manifesting her mark. A cheesecake, perhaps?
Yashira can be good with people!
She buys Alice a slice of cheesecake!
Nerys asks Damien's siblings for any embarassing stories of his childhood? He seems so cool now, what was he like as a teenager when his voice was cracking and he didn't have perfect skin
"That never happened"
Alice goes to start a story and Damien teleports her outside
Yashira admonishes him for using his powers irresponsibly.
The door is slammed open as she re-enters the cafe and just continues the story like it didn't.
It's a story about one of Damien's ex-girlfriends, a fey-like valley girl
It was nice meeting Damien's family, and they return the sentiment. Cedric is glad he's in good hands.
They exchange goodbyes, and then explore the rest of the city.
Next stop: Unicorn Park!
Damien loves this place!
A lot of the rides have height restrictions, ruining Ban and Ruckus' days :(
Nerys kicks off, they can bind elementals but they can't make seating thats safe for short people?
Damien says it's okay, they have the Pony Cart!
They can also do the log flume!
Nerys gets a souvenir unicorn cup, where the horn is the straw.
Those who can go on the Raging Stallion, the most intense ride in the park. The shorties have to settle for a smaller ride, but when the talls get to the Raging Stallion they see that there is specifically a carriage for smaller folks. Oh!
Damien runs to fetch the others and get them, they can ride it!
I ask for rolls to see who throws up. Nerys doesn't roll, they throw up.
Ban, Charlie and Yashira get quesy but he keeps it down.
Ruckus throws up, and he eats garbage so its bad
Ruckus is banned from further rides
Ruckus apologises for getting them kicked out of the Park.
They then head to Damiens' favourite bar: Off the Rails!
Damien knows everyone, of course, he used to work here! He orders a Ticket Master.
Ban can't choose, he wants to try them all! He settles on a Ticket Master
Nerys orders three Conductors
Yashira orders a Passenger
Charlie orders a Conductor
Ruckus gets a Locomotive Lager
Nerys asks Damien if he could make these drinks? "Of course!"
Well they know what they're doing later!
Damien regales them all with Lightning Rail facts while they get food. Damien orders the Railroad Nachos, which are served in little lightning rail carriages travelling along little tracks around the pub, delivering straight to their table.
After spending the day in Passage, they hop on the train and head back to Sharn. Damien looks forlornly out the window as they leave

They arrive back in Sharn, and have some time to chill

Luca invites Charlie to see a play, they're showing her second ever play at the Diamond: Fallen Angels.
Yashira's gonna get her wish! She's not a theatre kid, but Charlie insists.
They watch the play, it's heavy. The crowd is silent as it ends, and Nerys says "bummer" as they sob
Ban is sobbing
Charlie is less desensitized to this play, so he's gotten teary.
Ruckus sees parallels between the people depicted in the play and those in the Cogs
Yashira is somber, but not teary. It's given her a lot to think about.
All of them are emotionally affected by it.
Before they head to see Luca, Charlie lays down some ground rules. Don't offer her anything, don't offer her your name.
Yashira asks why? What?
Damien, frustrated at Charlie beating around the bush, goes "she's an archfey"
Yashira's hand gesturing pauses in mid air as she slowly turns to Charlie. "I'm sorry, what? You've just casually had an archfey patron this whole time?"
Nerys is confused, Yashira didn't know?
yeeeaaaaah
"Ah. Okay."
Nerys says but she saw Luca in Fort Bones!
Yashira thought that was Charlie's magic! She manifested in Fort Bones to save them!?
Charlie confirms
"So, we're indebted to an archfey?"
Charlie stammers, "no"
Damien says "yes"
"We're not indebted to an archfey"
Yashira pushes, "but you are?"
Charlie doesn't like thinking about it like that
Okay
They reiterate the rules. Yashira says they have so much to talk about after this, but they can't do it here.
Okay.
Luca Syara is an archfey, they can't offer her anything, and Yashira needs to thank her for saving their lives
"Don't thank her"
"Wait wait wait, how long have all of you known this?"
A few weeks
"Unbelievable"
Yashira gestures to Charlie, after you
Charlie says he'll go in first, and then will come get them
Charlie goes in and greets her, and asks if she's okay?
"I am consistent. Did you enjoy the play? I've been thinking a lot about the headspace I was in when I wrote it."
Charlie asks if she'd like to share? She says maybe later, when his friends aren't waiting
The others enter the office, and Yashira takes it all in. The despair sets in almost immediately, but its different for Yashira, there's something familiar to it that wasn't necessarily as true of the others. Yashira freezes, uncomfortable with being so utterly, completely seen by a stranger, and Luca stares at her just as intensely as she stares at Luca. Yashira is unable to speak as she grapples with her discomfort.
Damien speaks, saying it's nice to see her again, and Luca's attention being diverted gives Yashira a chance to breath. She's more prepared when Luca looks at her again, and asks if she solved the case?
Yashira asks what case, and Luca frowns. She seems confused, and apologises. "I was thinking about something else"
Yashira says that Charlie's said so much about her, and she nods. She then looks to Damien, and says that last time they spoke she said something that made Damien upset at Charlie. It was a joke, the rules don't apply. It just got away from her, she'd never been good at jokes.
Yashira thanks her for Fort Bones, she wasn't aware it was Luca.
Yashira asks if Luca leaves the theatre much? She doesn't, not often anyway. She met Charlie on one such occassion, but she finds that her presence upsets people.
Yashira agrees that maybe there's something about her that puts people off balance. Would she like to leave the theatre more?
If she had reason to, if someone wanted her too. Yashira says she knows a spot, if Luca did want to get out there. There's no crowds, they can see the night sky which is rare enough.
Luca says she might take them up on that, but she suspects they might be busy for a few days.
Yashira says it might help with the writers block, gesturing to the stacks of crumpled paper.
Luca comments that writing is the only thing that brings her joy, and she's hated everything she's written recently.
She corrects herself, Charlie brings her joy.
And they all bring Charlie joy, so she supposes that brings her joy by proxy
She asks how their adventure went?
Hmm, not great
They tell her about the adventure, what happened. The stakes.
Luca comments that it sounds like they saved the world. She keeps looking at both Charlie and Damien, which for them is like oscillating waves of despair.
Luca thanks them for visiting her, and apologises for the impact she had on Yashira. Yashira apologises for reacting like she did.
"It was a good play, thank you"
Luca asks if it made her want to see another? It did
Luca looks forward to her thoughts, then.
She then looks to Ban, and mentions that he was very upset the last time she saw him
He was! :(
He explains that he doesn't like it when people are sad, he wants to fix it. He gets out a little bag of cinnamon cookies, he thinks cinnamon is the spice that tastes most like a hug.
She thanks him as she delicately takes it, and mutters that she's never had cinnamon.
That might be why she's the saddest girl in the world.
She also muttered under her breath that she's only ever been hugged once. Ban says he has those too!
He opens his arms to offer, but she seems confused. She doesn't know what to do with that. She's staring at him intently as he tries to play it off and scratch the back of his head, and she reaches out slowly to pat him on the head.
Luca thanks them again, and then asks Yashira if she lives at her office?
She does
Luca looks over to her own bed, buried under paper. "Someone's been watching it"
"Like, spying?"
"I don't know"
She asks about the person, what they were doing. Luca explains they're tall, maybe trying to hide their identity? They might just be looking for Yashira, she does advertise it as an inquisitive agency.
Yashira, now anxious, says they should probably be going. Luca nods.
She asks if any of the others want to go with her, to investigate what's going on? She'd want to scout the area herself first though, in case it's someone who means her harm.
Yashira's built up a good reputation, she likes to help the people around her and people know her. She doesn't...really have any enemies in her local area?
She thinks the people there would give her a heads up if someone had been sniffing. She has a bad feeling.
They head back to her office in Underlook, and looks around but there's so many suspicious people around she can't pin any one down. She goes and gets the rest of the group, and then debates how to approach this. There's so many places one could see her office. It's also "raining".
Yashira decides to enter her office, alone, with the others nearby. They can then react if someone approaches. As they're discussing this, Yashira's spidey senses tingle and they spot someone watching her from a nearby café. The rain isn't even touching her outfit.

She's dressed like every bit the noir heroine that would enter the inquisitives office in a novel.
Okay, they know who they're looking for. Damien is confused, "wow you're good at your job! How can you tell?"
"Really, Damien?"
Yashira goes for it, this person sticks out so much that she's just gonna go for it. She gets a feeling though, that she should go into her office instead, for the bit.
The stranger looks panicked as Yashira starts to approach and looks down at her drink, muttering that this isn't how it goes in the books
Yashira doesn't know what kind of girlfailure she's about to deal with, but they seem so painfully out of place that they can't possibly be a risk. She'll humour them, has to cover her mouth with her hand to stifle a laugh, and she goes back into her office instead.
Damien is so confused, "what are we doing?"
"They're so harmless, Damien, I promise you. If I get hurt, it'll be my own fault"
Damien thinks they're doing some kind of weird mind influencing magic?? They might be incredibly hot, but she can't let it distract you
Yashira tells him not to use her own words against her! "Screw this, I'm going back into my office"
She tells him to hang fire, she can teleport in if he thinks she's in danger
Damien storms off to go get a coffee FROM A DIFFERENT CAFÉ
Yashira goes back into her office, obviously looks over her shoulder at the person, and then makes a show of closing the door.
The stranger is looking at Yashira, Damien is looking at the stranger, Charlie is looking at Damien. What an absolute circus.
Yashira starts making an effort to clean up a bit in the time she's got before the stranger knocks on the door.
2 minutes, there's a knock at the door, followed by this blond bombshell of a woman walks in.
"Sarhain. Chantalyn Sarhain. Are you Yashira?" as she takes off her glasses and bites the edge.
"My cousin says you're a really good detective, and I've got some models I need to find"
Yashira's player has stopped functioning
Yashira is prepared for anything, but she's always caught off guard by the Sarhain's. Every time. She is left speechless again.
"...Sarhain? Umm" she stammers
"You're Drego Sarhain's cousin?"
"Yeah"
"When...when did he tell you? How did you"
"Oh like we write letters together like a lot"
"He didn't mention a cousin"
"He's like my favourite person in the world, and I'm his favourite person in the world"
"You're...nothing like your cousin"
"Oh my god I've never been told that before, everyone's always like you're both so strong, and smart, and hot, and have such a strong resemblance"
Yashira continues stammering, she had no idea Chantalyn even existed.
"That's okay, I have trouble with object permanence too"
Yashira, palms sweaty, apologises for being a rude host and offers to get her a drink. "I have a sofa for people to sit while inquiring...so, models?"
Chantalyn explains that she has a runway show tomorrow, it's really important, it's a whole thing. Everything was great, they did all the fittings and everything, but when she went to the studio none of them were there and she doesn't know where they are, and she can't do it without her models. She can't wear them all herself! They fit other people, and it'd be so vain to wear them all herself, like, wow, what a bitch
The whole group has lost their shit at this point
Yashira didn't think anyone could unnerve her more than Drego, and its his fucking cousin. Chantalyn says he used to have the same accent as her, he worked really hard to get rid of it.
Yashira wants lessons in the valley girl accent so she can use it next time. "He might actually understand you better"
Yashira says she has some amazing, wonderful friends who can help. Chantalyn says "yeah they went to a really bad café. I went there and the guy said I can't sit there with only one drink, I have to buy more drinks, and I'm pretty sure I can, so I went to the other café and they let me sit there and get cake so I'm just not gonna give them my patronage the next time I'm waiting outside your office"
Yashira asked how long she'd been there for? 4 or 5 hours
Oh, wow
Was she eating the same cake the whole time?
No, her diet only allows her to eat 4 or 5 slices of cake a day so she only had like 3. She's on like a keto diet, but instead of keto it's like, whatever, cos she burns so many calories cos of the sparkly silver flame in her heart that she can do whatever
Yashira scurries off to get Chantalyn a drink, drops some silverware and swears under her breath, and then goes outside to get the others. She sees Damien arguing with the café owner that Chantalyn complained about
"What do you mean!? I bought a coffee and that means I can stay here as long as I like! And your coffee tastes like ass!"
Nerys is trying to defuse the situation, whilst the waiter yells at him that he's just like that weird woman that was here earlier!
Yashira hangs over the rail and gives the loudest whistle ever to get their attention, and gestures at them to get up there
Nerys says they think that means she killed the suspect and needs help hiding a body
Damien says that's a shame, but if they tried to murder her, they deserved it
Yashira does look like she's been in a fight, she's disheveled and her sleeves are rolled up.
Nerys says they need to pay and Damien yells at them that they just paid!
They all get to Yashira's office. Damien teleports onto the balcony whilst the rest have to take the stairs up.
Nerys is concerned, asks if she's okay? "Oh, yeah, fine. It's umm...there's umm..."
"There's a circumstance occuring right now-"
Chantalyn interrupts to ask if the water is tap water, mineral, or sparkling?
Tap...
"Okay, thanks"
Yashira says she could probably get some mineral if they want
Damien asks her what the fuck is doing?
Yashira grabs him and says she doesn't know what to do, it's a sexy fucking Sarhain
"There's two, fuck"
"Remember the rules, Yashira"
"No, we're not fucking the stupid sexy Sarhain, but I don't know how to talk to them. They seem really nice and not like Drego at all and it seems like Drego had a valley accent in the past but he lost it"
Yashira says she's feeling hot, the last time her brain felt this hot was during her Test of Siberys
"Are you gonna manifest a mark??"
"No! If I manifested a mark because of a stupid sexy Sarhain I'd rather just not have a mark!"
Yashira tries to get it together and explains that Chantalyn needs their help, and she seems really nice and she makes her own clothes and they're really good!
She needs help with this, she doesn't want to fuck this one up and she's been on a bit of a losing streak lately. She can't fuck this one up.
Nerys asks, "so they weren't stalking you?"
"...no"
Nerys also says they may not want to go to that café again, the owner was a dick. "Wait, what? That's Brett, we go way back, did you upset him!?"

Chantalyn Sarhain, the woman that you are
Yashira apologises, she's been so rude, and introduces them all to Chantalyn Sarhain. She's hired them to investigate something, her models have gone missing.
They all introduce themselves.
"umm, yeah, so like, hi! I've got this runway show that's happening tomorrow night, and I can't do that without my models, and when they were supposed to show up for our dress rehearsal, it's like a pun cos it's a rehearsal and they're wearing dresses, and none of them showed up! It's like, a big issue! Last time I saw them, they were gonna go down to the Bazaar, and then to Hareth's Folly, and then down to the Diamond Theatre to do all this stuff while they're in Sharn and like, they didn't show up and I don't know why they wouldn't show up. Drego said you were like, the best detective in Sharn, and he's the smartest person I know, other than me, so like, you need to help me find them."
Yashira is bright red
"So, umm, how many models are missing? Two, three?"
"Six"
"SIX!?"
Yashira starts chewing her thumbnail. Six models. The entirety of Sharn. Tomorrow night.
Sovereigns, they've got to find them
Nerys asks Chantalyn if she has a title they should use?
"Minister, cos I'm the Minister of the town of Siyar in Thrane, so like, I'm only here as like my second job, like a hobby, so like technically you should call me Minister Sarhain but Chantalyn is fine."
"okay, so the last time you saw them they were on their way to the Bazaar or Hareth's Folly? Were they all together?"
"Yeah they're all like, pretty friendly, but I only saw them walk away cos I like, had other things to do so like, I didn't like go with them. I just know what they went- they all share the same hotel though. I didn't go there, like, cos I didn't think to go there."
"So there's a possibility that they're all in their hotel rooms right now? Just, hypothetically speaking?"
"I mean, maybe, but I don't think so. That would be weird, if they were all in their hotel rooms when they were supposed to meet me five hours ago"
Yashira is pacing, holding her chin, taking all this in. "Yeah yeah of course"
There's a real possibility that Chantalyn has been waiting outside Yashira's office for 5 hours because her models have been chilling in their hotel rooms.
Nerys asks where the hotel is? "One of the big ones up top, I can take you there."
Nerys then asks for their names, and Chantalyn gives the cliff notes.
Ghaash-Lei Ag'rahm, she's an orc model from Breland. She really wears her tusks really well, she's big and I love her
Tanum Chatting, who is like so hot

Nerys asks Chantalyn what the theme of the show is?
"The name of the collection is the 998 Collection, but the theme is looking absolutely fucking hot on the battlefield. So, it's armour mixed with high fashion, you just have to see it. Once they get all the models, they can all get front row seats, on top of like, of course I'm paying you"
Yashira looks her over, and asks if she's wearing one of her pieces now?

Chantalyn talks about how they might've seen her in her boob window armour before
"During the war, you might've heard of me called the Silver...uhh, the Silver. Hold on, it's such a silly name. The Silver Blight, and it's like cos I killed a whole bunch of people, like, during the war. I was like, really good on the battlefield, and they were like 'oh my god she's the Silver Blight cos of the sparkly silver flame in her heart' and I kicked a bunch of asses at Cairn Hill and that's how I got this scar"
"and before that there were these guys that were like super rude, and I like ripped the silver flame emblem from my armour and it like, really showed off my tits and it was super hot so I fought like that"
Charlie is like, "wait did you say you were at Cairn Hill?"

Damien asks Yashira what their first port of call is?
Hotel first, maybe they're there. Maybe this is the quickest, easiest pay day of her life.

Chantalyn's Entrance

Not long after you get home, Yashira, there's a knock on your door. It's raining, but this far down the city you know full well it's not actually rain that's coming down. Answering the door, you're faced by one of the most stunning women you've ever seen, and almost certainly the tallest human woman you've ever seen.

She's about 6ft 3, and she's wearing a beautiful black dress with silver designs along it that bring to mind the sun over some hills, and a designer trench coat that has no sleeves, showing off the well developed muscles of her arms. She has long, well cared for blond hair that's flowing out from under a wide-brimmed fedora with a silver arrowhead sticking out of the ribbon, and her eyes are covered by a pair of designer sunglasses, with a scar down her left eye peeking out from underneath.

She's wearing fingerless gloves, and in one hand she has an expensive looking handbag. She looks every bit the noir heroine knocking on the inquisitives doors, like she'd stepped right out of a novel.
