Queen Dannel ir'Wynarn was the last queen of Cyre, before the nation was destroyed during The Mourning in 994 YK. She was crowned in 942 YK at just 17 years old, after the death of King Connos at the third battle for the Talenta Plains. She was a passionate, sensitive woman in her youth, and the pressures of ruling a country and fighting a war at such a young age affected her deeply. Nevertheless, she grew up to be a charismatic, intelligent leader who managed to inspire her people and keep them fighitng until the very end.
Her first son, Brusst, died in infancy at the hands of Richtus Ashkir, a loss that threatened to break her. Nevertheless, she went on to have several more children, including Prince Oargev and Princess Marhya. Dannel proved to be as resilient as her nation, and she survived every tragedy that befell her until the end. Cyre broke before she did.
