The first person enters and they are met with
blue skinned Air Genasi woman with long bluish grey hair tied back named Calani.
She wears peacock feathers in her hair and has dark blue swirling tattoos on
her left leg. She’s wearing a blue sleeveless dress with slits up either side
of her legs and light blue gloves that go up to her elbow. Next to her is a
male black furred Tabaxi wearing a navy blue long coat with a pink collar
lining the coat name Trick. Attached to his thigh, you can see some kind of
firearm.
The two of them look up to see Chef an individual wrapped in burlap sacks dawning a clay mask of comedy on his face. His figure is slightly hunched over as he tried to keep himself unnoticeable in his surroundings. The clay golem behind him stands much taller than he. The creature is of no intelligence and follows the Chef’s commands.
Not long afterwards Umbra Shor’GoDen arrives. A large Orc whose face is rather unflattering when compared to most orcs. His larger physique is nothing to laugh at as he enters the room. Slung on his back is an instrument he uses to perform with.
After a few more moments go by Shiloh Krallenxia walks through the door with his construct he created. A shifter clad in leather armors and various tinkering tools and do dads.
Erato was the last to enter. A shirtless man of beauty wearing only a loincloth. His splendor is certainly a sight for sore eyes.
Calani gets up from her crate irritated, “Why is it we are always missing one person…where’s….”
As she turns she sees Jo'Han Dough who had been there the entire time. A normal male Human wearing normal clothes who seems to simply just blend in with their surroundings.
Calani debriefs the group on what it is they are expected to do. She explains that there is an annoyance affecting the kingdom of Divelinson. This annoyance has done everything from stopping trade routes, stealing, hurting nobles, and more. The annoyance needs to be stopped and that the King hired the guild to do the job. However, the guild deemed it more necessary to seek out outside assistance due to the delicate nature of the mission. Bringing in the outside help would prevent the guild from being in the public eye with the involvement of the king.
Trick explains that before they can jump right into the mission they need to learn how to work together as a team. Teamwork is essential for any mission no matter what scale of mission it is. He places a bag of gold on the crate and tells them to have as much fun as they can with what is there but to make sure that they at least read the note that is inside the bag. The goal is to have fun together.
Calani added that they are expected to meet at the Dyonis Park where they would put their skills to the test. Before heading out, Calani approached Jo’han to inform him that he may need to speak with his wife before they took off.
Jo’han took charge and asked each of them what their skill set was like. Chef relies on his Golem and Shiloh his construct. However, Shiloh shared that he was capable of other things as well. The other two stated that they were performers. One a little more glamorous than others. Erato relies on the power of beauty while Umbra relies on the power of song. Jo’han shared that it appeared he was the one most suited for the job being a stealthier individual. The group decided to take the gold and head out into the main part of the tavern to have some drinks with one another. Chef returned to work at the tavern as per normal using his golem to serve the drinks alongside the owner. Jo’han goes to find his wife.
The group bar hops and eventually make their way to The Archer's Tavern based on the note that was found in the bag. The inn had accommodations arranged for them ahead of time and they had their rest for the night. Jo’han found the room that Winda and the others were in and watched over it for a while before deeming it was safe for his wife.
At dawn, the group makes their way to the Dyonis Park where they see Calani and Trick waiting on a small platform. The terms and conditions were that the group were supposed to attack them with everything that they had. Calani and Trick were not allowed to use their weapons unless they see fit during the trial. The combat ensued between the two vs the five. Trick seemed to be enjoying every bit of it as each attack failed to hit him. Calani suffered major psychic damage to the point where she pulled out her bladed fan and called the trial off.
The group stood down and began to coax Trick to pull out the gun he had. He was hesitant at first but eventually complied showing off his invention. The gun blasted magical bullets as well as converted into a flamethrower.
Trick stopped goofing around so that they can further debrief the group on the mission like they promised they would the night before. It was evident that Calani’s head hurt a little bit as she was trying to explain the details. Umbra offered to play her a song that would heal her. She accepted and was surprised to feel better than before.
The person they seek is a female who stands at about 5’5 5’6. She wears dark clothes concealing much of her giving her the name “Shadow Figure”. Her last known whereabouts were here in this park after some kind of altercation. Trick did not reveal when the altercation occurred.
They both went on to explain that they will take any information that they can get on this individual. It was more ideal that the person was captured alive. The key part being that this person needed to be alive as per the king’s request. Should the group kill anyone else along the way, they are instructed to reach out to the guild to clean up their little mess. But hope that it would not come to that.
They bid their farewells and the group was left on their own. They came to a consensus that they would camp at their location and observe the park should the individual return. Jo’han did what he does best and blended into the crowd. Shiloh climbed a tree to get a better view of the park as whole. Meanwhile Umbra played a wonderful tune and Erato danced to his songs to the best of his capabilities. It was evident that Erato was not entirely used to the type of music that he was hearing.
Chef tried hiding behind one of the statues and the companions before making his way over to a bench hidden within a tree. As everyone was positioning themselves, Jo’han connected himself to a few of his new teammates through a psychic link he had developed.
At the bench, Chef found blood on the armrest. He tried to get the attention of the others and eventually used his golem to do so. Jo’han investigated to see what Chef was referring to. It became evident that there was some kind of scrap that occurred here as the bench was used during it to strike someone. A few sets of feet were found along with a trail of blood. The blood lead around a rock through some trampled bushes. The tracks furthered solidified their choices as it was speculated that one of them could have been the woman they are after. The rest of the group started gathering up and followed the trail which lead outside of the park.
They were brought into the city where they encountered an individual sitting on the ground against a wall. He was dressed in nothing but rags and had long dingy white hair. It appeared he was an older gentleman but not super old. Chef approached him and dropped two gold coins into a cup he held out shakily. Umbra also dropped four fold coins into the cup as the group started to question his observations.
The old man poked fun at Umbra asking if he was looking for a woman for himself, saying this with a large grin on his face. Eventually he shared that he may or may not have seen the woman that they are looking for. It was hard for him to say. He soon shared that he may or may not have seen her go down the street into the main street. This was where it appears more people were hustling and bustling about as it was becoming later in the morning
Before heading down the street, the group noticed the bloodied handprint smear that was on the wall heading the same direction that they were going. They proceeded into the street.
