Fresh face at Frecia Academy you began your journey of studying the magic arts. You had plans, you had goals. However things weren’t really living up to what you wanted. You were placed into the Crest of the Star, a scholarly based house within the Academy. The academy itself is separated into four different crests; Moon, Sun, Comet, and Star. (See the Frecia Academy Curriculum Document to pick out your courses).

While in the academy there were a few individuals who stood out:

Third Year Diana Voxville, Half-Elf Princess of Divelinson who was in the Crest of the Comet. She often was seen with body guards of some kind. She stood out due to her pale complexion and almost sickly appearance. Often known for leaving campus for a few days due to her illness. It was rumoured that whatever was making her sick, was what caused the death of her sister Dria. However, the questionable part was why Dria died when Divelinson is known for its advanced medical studies…

Third Year Winston Constantine, a human noble of house Constantine of Frecia, was in the Crest of the Comet. He was a bit of a trouble maker. Rumour has it, the guy was arrested for high jacking his parent’s airship.

Then there was the triple trouble magic team of individuals. They were first year students who were popular among most of the students given their natural prowess of magic. They were top students in your year for their respective houses and had an outstanding amount of magical energy. Their names are Malady, Domino Wittenmyer, and Luna Eventide.

Malady you knew was a Yuan-ti from the Crest of the Moon. Out of uniform she was often seen wearing garments of her shaman like family heritage. Luna was often seen wearing a witch’s hat when not in her uniform. She studied in the same crest as you. Often she was seen with her familiar, a small raven who perched itself on her shoulder. Domino, a half-elf from the Crest of the Comet, acted as a leader like figure for their group. He often caused troubled for the teachers with his inventions and was known to get into fights.

One day, while walking back to your dorm after class you heard what sounded like a female crying. It was somewhere in the distance and you paid no mind to it. You simply brushed the crying off to some poor unfortunate student who could have failed a test. When returning to your lonely dorm you continued your normal routine. As you tried to go to bed, you heard the crying once more. This time it sounded like it was coming from underneath your window. Getting out of your bed out with slight annoyance, you looked out of your window to see no one there.

Several days had gone by before you heard the crying from outside of your window once more. Peering out you see glowing large light about the size of a person down below. Looking around, you noticed that no one else appeared to be down below in the courtyard. Peaking your interest, you decided to quickly grab your jacket to investigate this magical entity and the crying. As you made it down the stairs and to the spot below your window, the glowing apparition was gone along with the crying. Looking around, there still was no signs of anyone in the area. You took a few steps before hearing a small crunch from underneath your feet. Looking down, you find what appears to be an amulet of some kind. The amulet has a bright large blue stone with a silver backing and chain.

With the amulet in your hands you notice a small crack across the stone from stepping on it. However, after holding it, you could feel a sense of comfort and warmth. You felt very drawn to the amulet and decided to pocket it.

As the days went on, sure you made friends with a few people here and there but the school really wasn’t want you expected. Eventually, you made the decision to drop out in pursuit of something more exciting in your life.

Once out of school, you took the amulet into a jewelers. You learned from them that this amulet was something of magic and that there was nothing that they could do to properly fix it. Following their guidance, you spoke with a magic shop about the amulet. They explained the magical properties of the amulet and were even able to uncover a name magically hidden on the back of it. Alora, the Amulet of Alora with a dream stone.

You kept the amulet with you and began to learn more of how to utilize its magical properties. Time went on when you found yourself travelling to Divelinson. Here is where you found posters of Diana asking for applicants for her latest expedition that caught your eyes.
