The Soulmonger:

This item or person is believed to be the source of the death curse. We are going to try and find it and destroy or kill it. It is believed to be someplace within the Waking Jungle. We are investigating it’s location.

The Waking Jungle:

A massive “hot” uncivilized jungle near the center of the Nexus. The epicenter of the of the Death Curse is located there. It is filled with all sizes of terrible beasts. Due to the Death Curse many undead are now filling the lands, making it much more of a challenge to locating this Soulmonger.

Nyanzaru:

Is a port city on the edge of the Waking Jungle. The city if amazingly colorful as all the building are painted in all manner of color. They have beasts of burder here that are like nowhere else in the Nexus. They are huge and look to be dinosaurs.

Braucherel:

Wealthy merchant cat. She is very sick from the Death Curse. She has asked us to end the curse. This seems mostly altruistic on her part as she is likely going to die from this curse before we can end it. May Mysra give her wisdom in her death.

She teleported us to Nysanzaru and introduced us to Wakang.

Wakang:

Wakang is the wonderful squirrel that lives in Nysanzaru. He is another wealthy merchant. He has a patch over one eye. He had many great items within his home and offered them to us. I told him about the ancient teas that I love. He did not have any but the tea he offered me was amazing. We left too soon but I should have asked for some when we left.

He gave us a guide by the name of Wildie and thought we should speak to K’lahu. We felt the urgency and left to meet K’lahu right away.

Wildei:

He is a great young coyote. He longed to be a fox, but the gods were not on his side in this regard. He led us directly to K’lahu. He believed that his now dead master was piss poor in his summoning ability. I think he was great in his summon and appearance. He is a really good kid.

K'lahu:

He is an obese hamster. He runs these terrible games, that prey on the misfortunes of others. Our distain for him almost caused an issue. Most of us disliked him. Myself included. Must remember my teachings that I should not judge the cultures around me, just observe them. He agreed to give us information and Wakang’s coin if we did his game. I tried to do it alone to protect my friends but he was not having any part of that.

The Executioner’s Run:

This is a cruel game where slaves are offered their freedom if they survive. They must run a trench and avoid or kill the terrible beasts within. We killed the beast in our playing of the game. Sprinkles was badly wounded in the run.

Raptors:

Our run of the Executioner’s Run was kindly filled with raptors. These smallish predators worked together in packs as they tried to tear us about. Black Tail was able to dispatch all of them before killing us. Only poor Sprinkles was wounded and dropped. I was able to stabilize her.
