The meeting is cut as there is concern that Folas Carna is sharing too much without the permission of Ulahice.
Folas tries to continue, emphasising the lack of time considering the circumstances. Edward abruptly excuses himself, worried that Yishi the Gangrenous is still watching him from the Feywild and will learn more Elven secrets if he remains present.
The remaining party feel an increasing tension with the members of The Tide as they ask if everything is alright with Edward. The party come clean and bring up Edward's predicament, Folas returns with an offer to break such a divination, explaining his understanding of fey magic.
Folas casts the message spell, informing the guards at the doors of Lunas Orberus to stop Edward, and send him right back.
Upon Edward's return it is agreed that Folas will remove his curse, along with those acquired by Crom and Mornington, should they choose to have them removed. Amarion, despite making a deal with Yishi, is free of any sustained curse. To remove the curses, the party are to meet Folas in his quarters within the palace that night, in the meantime, the meeting is adjourned until the next day.
With the rest of the day free the party explore the city, taking in the sites and sounds, and head to some of the finer shops available in the city. They precure a number of items, some practical others for leisure, before heading back to Lunas Orberus at sundown.
Folas welcomes the party, a glowing ball hovers within his academic chambers, elven ears trailing like smoke from its surface. He explains that they are being monitored magically by the Tide, an assurance made to prevent Folas from sharing further without the Ulahice's permission. He takes some time tending to the curses imparted by Yishi's trading, informing the party she will know the curse has been broken. They then move on to speak of the parties experiences during their travels, namely about the locations of the Element Stones. Folas wants them to pinpoint specific locations on a map, he withdraws a fine Elven map of Usta and gifts it to the party.
Folas had mentioned previously to the party that he, and his Masters of Arcana, study the magic of the world but also study any magic forged into artifacts from a prior age. The elves have been creating magic items of their own with the knowledge they have collected, and Folas offers them to trade magic items. For items of similar potency he will trade one for one, or will allow three of a certain potency to be traded for a more rare, powerful item.
