Turrakh

Large and muscular with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, the Turrakh are feared warriors and mercenaries across much of Wildspace. Because their home planets were so hostile to development, Turrakhs have excelled at survival tasks and improvised weaponry and tech.



As a Turrakh, you have the following traits:

Turrakhs have a lifespan of around 80 years.

Alignment

Turrakhs are generally seen as chaotic.

Creature Type

You are a humanoid.

Size

Turrakhs are generally around 7 to 8 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Language

You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic.

Brute Strength

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying weight and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Natural Armor

You have tough, scaly skin. When you aren't wearing armor, your base AC is 13 + Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.

Survival of the Fittest

Thanks to your mystical connection to nature, you gain proficiency with two of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Medicine, Nature, Perception, Stealth, or Survival.

Bite

You have a fanged maw that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with it, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier slashing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. As a bonus action, you can attack with your Bite and gain temporary Hit Points equal to the damage. You can use this bonus action trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus before needing a short or long rest.
