Maret is an older merchant, who came to the village 15 years ago. He is liked by the community, as he never sells bad and low-quality items, and his prices are always as low as possible.
Maret does not fear the queen but feels that he is unable to do anything himself to help the villagers, except continuing his work.
He likes Ulrek, who helped him move to Fairhaven, and is in good standing with [Zhozag] – an orcish huntress who brings him the best furs and meat out of any hunter from the village.
