Khamsin Asturr

God-King of Might and Magic
Villain, Deity

Once among the ruling archmages of Skarshire, the serpent Khamsin is a practiced master of the arcane arts. Intelligent and cunning, he worked alongside Kristina to craft a ritual that would suffuse the both of them with the raw power of the old gods. Transformed from a tall yet lanky serpentkin to a hulking and immense god, he quickly assumed control over the city and Nakash with the new viper goddess. Together, they had planned to rule equally yet soon the greedy deities began to fantasize about dominating over one another for total, singular control. The conflict boiled over into a battle of strength and magic, and ultimately Kristina was the victor. For his crimes against her and Skarshire, she forced Khamsin into exile, and his growing gathering of kobold and dragonborn suffered the same fate as he did.

Banished to the Spirelands, Khamsin remained undeterred in his dreams of conquest. Quickly he established a foothold in the region, weaving great storms about the mountains to both conceal his machinations and defend what was now his from Kristina. From there he began to enhance his followers through new rituals, transforming them into supremely muscled beasts with enhanced aggression and wild sexual appetites. Now calling himself a god-king of his loyal people, he calls his kin the Stormscale Hulks and promises revenge against the vain goddess that spurned them all.

Khamsin himself is of surprisingly similar temperament and desires to Kristina, with an equally large god complex. His attitude is befitting one with such grandiose plans and lofty ambitions, and he is both well-spoken and quick-witted as can be. That being said he can also be quick to anger in certain situations, as quick to a rampage and shows of monstrous strength and aggression as the hulking beasts he rules over. Ultimately he plans to take the viper goddess as his bride once he has had his victory over her.
