Towering over the woods like some colossal metal mushroom, the citadel of the House of Kom can be seen for miles around. Energy shields are not allowed inside the citadel and must be left at the front gate. Religion dominates life at the citadel with people attending one of the three temples four times a day or face becoming an outcast.

The citadels red hooded House guards aren't just on the lookout for those breaking the king's law but also anyone committing any moral infractions. They see their job as a religious obligation and are passionate about enforcing the rules of the citadel and the Bond. When not on duty they can often be seen sitting cross legged in passageways meditating.

Like many of the woodland Houses they keep and ride giant hounds but unlike the others they reject the Fedean guides to how they should be treated and their dogs are known to be more impulsive and less obedient than those of other houses but also more violent in war.

They generally regard the Fedean practiced by other Houses, especially those in the Barony of Trem as heresy. They do not permit the ownership of the Fedean manuals and guides that are so popular in neighbouring lands.
