The Barony of Twain and the House of Twain has a very radical interpretation of the official religion known as the Bond. This fundamentalism has a luddite type quality, and they reject lots of tech accepted by the other houses. Like the Forrand they punish the unorthodox although even more radical communities have sprung up in the area that are even more extreme than the House of Twain. The House of Kom and House of Shore swear loyalty to Twain despite the fact that they are more extreme. They ride large buffalo type creatures.
