The seat of the House of Twain. The life of the citadel is dominated by religion. The Society of the Bond run three temples one in each of the three towers that make up the citadel. The largest tower is called Kondo's Tower, the smaller towers are called Ranoleen's Tower and the Cargothen's Tower. Each has a corresponding temple. The Temple of Kondo has a great stone floor, large wooden pillars, an electric chandelier of the desert sun and it's shrine houses the oldest known statue of the prophet Kondo, carved from wood - it is life sized and dates to only a few hundred years after the end of the Age of Unbalance as discussed in the Myth of the Bond.
The citadel's day begins at dawn and ends at sunset. This is considered to be the natural cycle. Lights within the citadel are turned off after sun down. You are allowed to wander the citadel after dark but this would require a flashlight.
The tannoy system also calls upon all those in the citadel to observe a minutes silent contemplation of the bond four times a day. Most rooms in the citadel have speaker stacks built into the walls so you can hear announcements everywhere.
The Society has its own theological office in the citadel the largest one outside of Bond Tower.
