Large red rocks mark the way to the citadel for those travelling over the grass steppes. It is said that under each lie a hundred dead enemies of the House of Monko, slain in battles fought by the House centuries ago. 

They keep their animals in pens outside the citadel, they will keep travellers for a small price. They can be sent for if you require them but this can take upwards of an hour.

This means that the lower floors are dedicated to the spice market. Here spices and pastes, oils and herbs are sold in bulk. Merchants buy here and travel to the other houses to sell the same dazzling variety.

The floors above the market and grow houses - massive crops of chillis and peppers are grown inside the citadel along with the herb baba-ros.

Under the influence of their neighbour the Princess Barthena Carnhold, they have even open a modest art gallery on the upper floors, open to the public and showing work bought by the noble family of the House.

The citadel library contains the Argon Scrolls, these paper documents are so old, that The Society of the Bond had them sealed up in tubes filled with argon gas to inhibit their degradation.
