Valygar was once a powerfull drow necromancer that attempted to complete the gruelling process of becoming a lich and failed horribly at it.
His body transformed and head full of fog he continued to rule his tower for centuries until he was dethroned by an uprising of his undead servants.
He finds himself now exiled and restricted to the top level of his tower.
