Auxiliary Stations and Rooms

This station allows crew members to exit the starship without loss of air by using a room as a buffer. A small scanner or password lock typically prevents unwanted guests from entering.

Station Actions. One of the following station actions can be taken each round at the airlock. Unlike other stations, you can take these actions while outside the station, provided you are within 5 feet of the airlock.

• Activate Airlock. You pass through the airlock into or out of the ship. This action can be performed manually over the course of a minute even if the station is disabled.
• Bolster Airlock. You fortify the airlock to prevent an intruder from entering the airlock.
• Connect Airlock. You connect the airlock to an adjacent airlock, typically for passage to an adjacent cruiser or corvette.

This station generates oxygen, clean water, artificial gravity, and the other essentials for organic creatures aboard a starship. The station is critical for larger ships undertaking long journeys, but short-ranged corvettes can exchange a life support station for refillable onboard oxygen tanks.

Disabled Station. If disabled or destroyed, the station no longer recycles air or produces artificial gravity, A starship runs out of air after a duration equal to 5 minutes for each space that the starship occupies. The Movement in Zero Gravity section provides rules for navigation in a weightless environment.

A 20-foot long gripping arm is mounted to the side of the starship, controlled by an interface inside this station. The arm is slow and not particularly strong, but is relatively flexible.

Station Action. While at this station, you can control the arm and use it to manipulate things outside the starship. The following station actions can be taken at this station each round:

• Grip. Over the course of a minute, the arm can grip and move a Medium or smaller object or creature within 30 feet f the starship. An unwilling creature can succeed on a DC 5 Strength or Dexterity check (its choice) to avoid being grabbed.
• Manipulate. The arm attempts to manipulate an object within 20 feet of the starship.

This station boasts a wide complement of healing devices for ensuring the crew's good health, including a supply of healer's kits, x-ray machinery, blood sampling tools, and comfortable beds. A crew member gains advantage on Wisdom (Medicine) checks made while in this station.

Sation Actions. Any crew member that specializes in medicine is called a medic. The following station action can be taken at this station each round:

• Administer Aid. The medical lab has 3 charges and regains expended charges every 24 hours. As an action, you can expend a charge and grant the benefits of a vita-gel v2 to a creature you touch.
