Constellations

Every character in Teyvat has a unique density that will require them to achieve their maximum potential one day. The universe has decided that the standard metric of a vision wielder's growth can be divided up into 7 states. Each represents one of the 7 stars in the sky that form their "constellation," which is the astral projection of their future onto the fabric of reality that makes up the Tevat nighttime sky.

These seven states are colloquially referred to at "C0- C6" where C0 means "constellation 0" and is a fresh character who hasn't ascended past the beginning stages of their story. In contrast, a "C6" character has drawn out every inch of their talent and is essentially ready for ultimate high-level combat if they know the right skills. A c6 character's story is far from over when they achieve this state, however, they usually will embody a more mentorship role or team "ace" position.

When unlocking a new level of one's constellation, you may only add one new ability of that constellation's corresponding level type or a lower-level one that is not custom.

Some constellations may be taken multiple times and progressively improve upon retakes.

C1: Choose from the C1 Selection.

C2: Choose from the C2 Selection or below.

C3: A Custom skill modification: The C3 constellation marks the halfway point for your character. Take the most relied-upon elemental skill that they have and propose an improvement or change that your character would make to it. The GM will create a new version of this skill unique to the character that includes the flavor improvement alongside a minor buff.

C4: 4th constellation skills are very powerful feats that can drastically change the mechanics of your character and the flow of the battle. Choose from the C4 Selection or Below.

C5: Choose a feat from the C5 selection or below.

C6: Ultimate Skill: A C6 skill is the most impressive category of skill that lands somewhere between unfair and reality-bending.Teyvat has its own laws, and one of them is that density is absolute. Since each skill is unique to each character, it has to be discussed with the GM in order to create them but to give a metric of what is possible: Multiple-attacks, the ability to revive multiple downed team members, complete team combat heals, mass elemental infusions, mass team attack buffs, separate weapon states, and more. A c6 skill defines the peak refinement of a character's ability set, riding the gap between satisfying narrative and strong mechanics. Alternatively, chose a feat from the C5 selection or below.
