The Principality of Argond

A realm that came to be in the Post-Wasting Era, in the western reaches of Liwilai. The Principality of Argond, shortly after its conception, became, like Argentis, a smaller hub of Illiadian culture in its own right, when it took in many Illiadian refugees, as well as peacefully annexed the Illiadian City-State of Khrusia. In modern times, it also became interesting to professors of Illiadology, due to also containing the ancient ruins of Aesil. Today, it's a major trading-ally of The Argentian Republic, spreading Illiadian innovations all over Sancstoryl, thanks to its many trade agreements and port towns on other continents, and even has special freedom-of-movement privileges thanks to Argentis' border creating an enclave of Argond to its east. There are talks of turning the trade-agreement between Argentis and Argond into a military alliance, but so far this hasn't gotten much traction. Argond is a deeply religious country with a focus in the deities Tyr, Erathis and Pelor. Much of its culture is influenced in many ways by the Osé Sultanate due to it having had colonies on Argondian lands in the past, although much of it has taken on a unique and new flavor over the past millennium.
