The spiteful, greedy and tyrannical goddess of Chromatic Dragons. Tiamat is, together with her brother Bahamut, one of the oldest deities on Sancstoryl. When more deities that Bahamut would go on to befriend made their way to the young world, Tiamat became enraged and jealous of the new deities and their mortals instead, and in a bout of greed, tried to make her previously silent desire to become the worlds' sole deity a reality. Her brother Bahamut went on to battle her to protect the mortals of the world, which then ended in her banishment to The Nine Hells. To this day, she still resides there, but nowadays it seems to be, at least partially, because she does no longer have a desire to truly leave. After all, why would she? Both her hoard and her many, many mates are there. This doesn't stop the occasional cult from trying to summon her, which she also is more than OK with, because it would still be a win for both her and her followers, and would usher in an age of dragons. Tiamat most notably created the chromatic dragons of Sancstoryl, and her influence is why many of them lean towards evil alignments, though she is also accepting of metallic dragons that stray from the ways of good.
