Gem Dragons are a type of Dragon, and supposedly were created from Sardior's will. Gem Dragons are generally reclusive and keep to themselves, not really bothering with such concepts as good and evil, and considering themselves above such concepts, preferring to amass knowledge and using their psionic abilities to guide them to their pursuits. Thus, Gem Dragons are both equally as revered as they are feared, as their behavior can either be kind and charitable on a good day, or cruel and violent on a bad one, with no one knowing whether the gem dragon they're speaking to is a friend or a foe, until they've done so. Of course, as with everything, there's exceptions to the rule.
