There are two types of Minotaur on Sancstoryl; Monstrous Minotaurs, who are partially touched by The Abyss, due to the Demon Lord Baphomet, who had a hand in creating them, and Civilized Minotaurs, who have broken away from Baphomet, and developed their own societies. As some say, this was also done with the help of minotaurs from other worlds, who had no connection to Baphomet, and landed on Sancstoryl and interacted with the local Minotaurs.
Civilized minotaurs are often smaller than the monstrous type, and most notably, much less prone to violence, even though many still work as warriors, guards and hired muscle. However, due to being descended from monstrous minotaurs, and still having a touch of the Abyss inside them, these Minotaurs still often enjoy eating meat; even though, unlike their monstrous cousins, they're no longer purely carnivorous.
Many Minotaurs can be found most often in the country of Grehel, parts of the Osé Sultanate and in The Corniola Covenant.
